The holidays are approaching so quickly I can hardly believe that its now almost November? Which means I can almost hear the sleigh bells ringing and the HO HO HO from every direction. Gosh I love Christmas.
It has always been my favourite time of the year. Well mostly because of the holidays but also because everyone is generally in such a festive spirit and more happy and relaxed. I love the giving out gifts to everyone and mostly I enjoy shopping for those gifts and meticulously choosing what to buy for each person. Its just so much fun.
As Santa has his "Naughty and Nice" list and so does Angel. And every year I buy according to that list and next to each name is a budget and I stick to that budget, otherwise I would be broke by November. As much as I love shopping I know if I don't stick the budget it could have serious consequences on my finances for the rest of the holiday and I don't want to be going all over and drinking still water. So I make sure that I budget accordingly and that I am not distracted by all the pretty things in the stores at the moment. Especially Woolworths, their packaging is so beautiful that you can buy a trolley full of nothing and be absolutely happy about it. Be Warned friends.....I'm not saying stay away from Woolies, all I am saying is make sure that what you buy is what you wanted to begin with, avoid temptation.
