On Saturday the 22 August I was invited to attend the First Annual Beauty Blogger Awards at Movida in Rivonia.
The event was aimed to recognise Bloggers for their work and also to raise funds for the Look Good, Feel Good campaign which focus's on making the lives of Cancer patients better. The Sponsors were amazing from Johnson & Johnson's, NYX, Glam Palm, Easyhair Pro and Tan Organic.
The atmosphere was light and inviting with an arrangement of food and drinks on display as well as waiters making the rounds to keep guests well served.
The overall winner of the evening was 9 Lives Blog walking away with 3 awards for her blog. I have never heard of her before Saturday but I will make sure that I look her up and see what sets her apart.There were over 100 nominated blogs. I never knew that blogging was such a huge industry....and here I am still on BlogSpot!! lol. oh well.
It was a wonderful evening and I met some amazing people, I am so glad that I went after all.
