I am one of those girls with huge lips. So I can very conscience of the colours I use on my lips cause frankly, it could just look messy and I don't want that? So I usually stick to shades of red and neutral glosses, nothing that would draw too much attention to my lips. Just enough.
At the Blogger Awards, which I wrote about yesterday, we were given the most amazing Goodie Bags. Inside was this little treat-NYX Butter Gloss. The very first thing that intrigues you is the colour because its a cute, fairy-tale, butterfly, I'm 5 again, type of pink-its that colour that makes you feel like a little girl again, but with make-up! Being Colour conscience I slammed it away in my lip stick pile and then this morning I thought to myself-why not?
I smeared it up and down my lips with sheer delight only to be pleasantly surprised-not by the burst of colour, but by the subtlety of it. Its pink without the Nicky Minaj-Rap Star look to it. Its a ''im a decent girl'' kind of pink.
Then came the test of TIME. I waited for it to "cake" around my lips, patiently watching the time go by..... and then 12 o clock came and still not a sign of little white particles making a circle around my mouth. I am impressed to say the least.
So impressed that I thought this might be worthwhile sharing, and so I did.
