We all know that we have instincts although some of us may think that its just a myth and others call it "the voice of God"..however you would like to refer to it is fine with me, as long as you know what I'm talking about.
There are countless of times when I can remember my instincts being right on point because I learnt how to handle them and trust them without immediately jumping to conclusions. Whether it was a sticky situation or just some kind of intuition, I just knew that that particular thing was going to happen or is happening while I speak. I used to think I was going crazy, cause when this instinct creeps up-you cannot shake it for the life of you. There is no way you will sleep that night and no way your mind will be able to focus on anything else. You will feel the restlessness within your soul. It will shake you like nothing else. For me its God's way of telling me I'm on the right track and opening my eyes to unseen truths.
Now, before we all go crazy, let me also just clarify that you also can get obsessed with the wrong idea and then make it a reality in your head without even realising it you are bringing your imagination to life, giving it a story then going with it. Instincts DO NOT manifest like this.
Instincts are often triggered by a reoccurrence of something or a similar situation of sorts, often referred to as a premonition. But what you need to look for is the tangible. The fact. What is linking it to this "instinct". Once you find the trigger, dissect it, unpack it and question it. Could it be coincidence? Could it be your imagination? Are you looking for an excuse? Our instincts more often than not creep up when we are faced with a bad situation, so when you are in that space don't ever just make up your mind. Remember why they say-Follow your instincts? because you stay silent and you follow your instincts, if what you are thinking might be true, wait for it to reveal itself. And it will. Just follow the breadcrumbs one crumb at a time. Be patient. Then you will see why they call it Instincts, cause you knew it all along, all you had to do is trust yourself enough to look for the evidence.
