These past few days has been such a state of affairs with the Xenophobic attacks running rampant on the streets in some major cities. It is so sad to see people attacking each other for no good reason causing so much damage to the psychology of others and traumatising the nation with graphic pictures of people with their head sliced open and being burnt alive. I wish I could "unsee" certain parts of the footage which was available on Facebook and other social media platforms.
I have no words.
I do not see the need for people to ever fight. God has given us all immense wisdom and knowledge. He has given us power over all things of the earth and he gave us all a tongue to communicate and ears to listen to each other. We are all fully equipped to deal with any obstacle which may come our way in a manner that is pleasing to God and in line with our humanity.
We might not all be some from the same country but we are all people. We go through the same things. We all have families. We all have dreams, desires and ambition and we all bleed the same blood regardless of the colour of our skin.
Lets rather concentrate on the things that make us the same rather on the things that make us different.
