I"ll huff and puff and blow your house down

I recently went for an interview and to say it was bad would be an understatement. It was horrific to the point where I needed sleeping tablets just to be able to sleep that night. I kept replaying the entire scene over and over again thinking how I should have answered back and what I should've said in response to the condescending and hurtful remarks that were made about me from someone who didn't even know my name. How dare he question my integrity or parenting skills? How dare he call me names and belittle me just because he is in a position of power?

I am by no means easily offended but this guy just over did it to the point where it wasn't about the job anymore it became personal.

After sleeping over it and playing Big Seans "I don't give a F**K about you", at least a thousand times I came to the conclusion that some people will just break you down because they can. They are so soaked in their own glory that other peoples feelings cease to exist and they become King for that small amount of time, because after that, no one will even remember their name. So they think by spewing out a few hateful remarks will make them relevant and remembered . These people try to belittle you and kill your hopes and dreams so you wont amount to much. Their end game is to make you feel useless and give up on yourself.

But don't give up and don't give them the pleasure of a smart remark or backchat. Like I tell my kids....No-one can punish someone better than God. Don't seek revenge or harbour ill feelings. Let it go and smile cause clearly, you not the insecure one. He is. lol
