While I was on holiday I went a bit cray-cray with the make-up and bought an obsessive amount of it so I'm still trying out everything so I can do reviews...but its so hard cause once you find something good you prefer to stick with it rather than try something new...I don't know if you guys are also like that?
Today I decided to try the Victoria Secret make-up collection. I really wanted to try everything from the eye shadow to the blush and gloss, so I bought this wonderful amazing case which has little sections of each, which you can put in its holder so you can take it with you to work!! Is that just not genius? I love buying a variety of make up but you cant usually fit everything in your bag so this is just amazing.
Today I tried out the eye shadow, blush and lip-gloss from the compact and all I can say is wow!!
For a company that makes panties and bras they are just amazing! The eye shadow does not clump on application and it spreads the colour evenly so there are no darker and lighter shades, which is great. I'm not a beautician so when it comes to applying make-up I need something that requires little to no effort at all. This is it. I'm also wearing the blush which just highlights my cheeks nicely without me looking like a clown and then the lip-gloss. I love lip-gloss, but I hate the texture of it. Its always sticky and when its at its last it leaves this white ring on your lips like you hungry...lol. I am happy to report that this one does no such thing. Firstly its not sticky at all. It doesn't feel like you have applied a coat of superglue or plastic on your lips either. It feels natural and gives you that shine and that "lip boost" at the same time. I am very happy with it.
So you see you should never judge a book by its cover. Even though they are not known for their make-up they certainly have created a quality range which really makes me change my mind about companies who have been in the business for years..... as opposed to new up and coming brands that are looking for a market share!!
I hope you enjoyed my review and if you have also tried some of their products let me know how was your experience.
Thanks for reading...
