How to hide the kilos-Part Two

In the first instalment of " How to hide the kilo's" I focused on wearing dresses which were tight at the top and looser at the bottom, especially your weight gain areas, such as your tummy, thighs and hips.

Today I thought I would get into the art of colours.

As you can see instead of the usual light colours, today I went for something darker-Navy Blue. Lately navy blue has been making a come-back on the fashion runways and its easy to see why-cause its a great alternative to black! Black has always been a colour where you could hide under, your comfort colour. I must admit that I also use the magic that is black as my comfort colour. If I have one of those days when I feel like a whale-I wear black. It makes me look way thinner and then I don't feel like a whale anymore! lol

Back to navy blue....
Navy blue is also as versatile as black. Today I matched my navy blue dress with beige and it looks gorgeous! You can mix it up with almost any colour. Red is always a great colour to match it with, as well as bright orange, yellow, white or green but seriously, navy blue is a great mixer!! Navy blue also has this thing about looking elegant all by itself. Whether its a pants or a top or a dress if its navy blue, it automatically looks elegant, so its excellent for the working woman. A navy blue suit is always a killer.

The dress I am wearing today is from Zara, and was a gift from one of my very good friend. The lace Cardigan is from Ooh la la, the shoes are from Sissy Boy and the bag Burberry.

I hope you enjoyed todays look!!

Happy fashion!
