Expectations is one of the greatest instruments for the breakdown of any relationship. Be it a working relationship or a personal one. Once that expectation is not met....you first start with the feeling of disappointment, after that you will start harbouring ill feelings towards that person for the expectation that was created and finally those ill feelings will destroy and question every act thereafter.
Expectation is something created in your mind after a repetition of a certain occurrence. It may be a regular visitor to your office or receiving flowers on your birthday every year then suddenly it doesn't happen and you like WTF??? Did I do something wrong? Why is this person behaving like this? But this is our thing? He or she does it every year or week or day? And so the questions start formulating one after one. ..
So how do you deal? What do you do? Well I have learnt to take take one day at a time and understand that people change. There are things that happen to you when you grow up that changes you. It could be marriage or child birth or even loosing someone through death or divorce , but by creating these expectations in your mind you are setting yourself up for disappointment. You might think I'm overley cynical but I would rather program my mind for surprises than create expectations and end up disappointed and start losing friends and family. You see no matter what the expectation is that's in your mind you don't know what the other person is thinking. Whether they know the duty which they have created in your mind. So its an argument you will end up losing and feelings you could have spared yourself. Don't buy into expectation. Live each day to the fullest and appreciate those and what they do for you.

So I made it an entire week with the same bag and shoes on. Can you believe it? I showed you how to rock the same colour shoes with different outfits. I hope it was worth the sacrifice. ..lol. The gorgeous dress I am wearing today is from Velvet at Yde. The plunging neckline on this dress is so unusual and makes this dress so feminine and sexy without over doing it because it's so long !! The scarf I took off the bag and put it around my neck. Improvise. Lol
