Having friends is one of the most awesome gifts ever. Knowing that someone cares about what happens to you and is always there for you is really such a privilege. Cause when you think of it that person is not family so there is no moral obligation for them to care at all that's why friendship is something so sacred and something to be cherished.
I am a very friendly person and have a lot of acquaintances but not a lot of friends. Friendship is a commitment which I can't promise to everyone I know. A commitment is a very serious thing. It means I am committed to you and your sorrow and your happiness and anything else that happens in your life. And because my free time is limited I only have a handful of friends. That way I know I can be a good friend.
But as friends we all mess up. As much as I would like to think I am a good friend I know there are times when I say things and not everybody thinks it's a joke or I might miss your special day or not pick up my phone when you call but what's important is that we forgive each other and move on. Some of these memes really irritate me cause it has these sayings that if you not there for me 100 percent of the time you not my friend and the truth is that even I cannot be that good of a friend how can I expect that from someone else? Sometimes you have to look at what you are bringing to the table as well before you expect perfection from others. Friendship is a two way street and it's not going to work with only one person bringing the love. Although there are instances when you have a long standing friendship which you don't want to lose then you going to have to have enough love for both of you, cause like romances , friendships can also fizzle out and die if you don't give it enough attention.
What I've learnt about friendship is to be forgiving cause no one is perfect not even your friends and as much as they are committed to you they also have other commitments as adults.
Number two. Look at what you are bringing to the table before you start making demands on your friends. Friendship is a two way street.
And lastly. Don't believe all those profile pictures and memes. Some bored person with no friends obviously wrote those cause no one is perfect not even you.

To match this awful weather I wore all black and I think I'm going to wear all black everyday till the sun comes out cause this weather is just unnecessary.
