Today I am tackling a very sensitive subject among woman. ..The subject of wearing knock offs!! If that's too vague....fake brands.
We live in a capitalist society where almost everything and anything can be duplicated and sold at a price. Nothing has become original anymore and sacred. There is no one of a kind thanks to the industrious Chinese and many other countries who participate in this practice. But should they be condemned or praised? I could never afford a Louis Vitton bag or a Michael Kors dress if it were not for they massive duplications. But does it make me then "cheap" to buy a fake and wear it proudly?
I think we should look at the alternative. With such great fashion coming out of Europe and America All the time wouldn't it be unfair if only the super rich could afford it? Why shouldn't the less rich , like me, also be able to wear it? It's only a dress. Bag. Watch. Ect. And to tell you the truth it's not like I'm getting it dirt cheap either.
Then there's another argument that if you can't afford it you should not wear it. Well that's the argument of the rich. I don't think there has ever been a woman who said while looking at a gorgeous bag....It's a fake.ill save for the rest of my life to buy myself a real one. Lol.
Anyway, with all that said ....I don't care. Really. Whether it is a fake or it is real it couldn't bother me in the least as long as when I have it on it looks good and complements my look. We all buy according to our pockets. So if your pocket can afford the real thing....Well done to you! Just don't judge those who are trying to get where you are. Let's not put each other down based on fashion labels. There are just too many struggles in life for you to wonder if I'm wearing a real MK bag or a fake.
Well today let me assure the critics that it's all fake!!! Lol and I'm loving it! This dress is super sexy and so long I actually wore it to a baby shower! It is just incredible. It also has a hood at the back but you can't see it cause of my hair but when I wear it again I will put my hair up. The bag and watch are also MK. Everything just matches so beautifully and can you believe I did not buy it all at once. The bag I had for months now and the watch. It's just the dress and shades that are recent. The shoes are from Edgars Steve Madden. Are they not the cutest. I am so in love with these shoes that I also went to get them in black.
