Happy Belated Woman's day to all my readers hope you had an awesome day!! I spent the day at two Fabulous Woman's Day events with my gorgeous kids. It was sooo awesome! and I was exhausted afterwards...lol!
It is such a nice thought to have a special day in recognition of woman and their contribution to society, but who are these woman that we celebrate? It is US. All of us. Your contribution doesn't have to be so profound that it will effect the whole country or even the community. You don't have to be Angelina Jolie and save the world ...It just has to effect one life. If you can impact or change another woman's life for the better-you are changing her whole family, you are changing her circumstances and you are changing her mind set and there is nothing more powerful that a "changed mind", and that's how you change the world!
I am sure you are asking yourself-how do I do this? how do I impact on someone's life? There a few ways to do this...you can be a shoulder to cry on, or a listening ear or you can support them through a difficult time but what I found is when you compliment a woman...it stays with her!
So recognise the effort she has made when dressing up this morning, compliment her on a job well done or an excellent birthday party she has given her child. Let her see her own abilities through your eyes, and when she sees this her confidence will grow. Her eyes will open. Confidence is a powerful tool, but not every woman is equipped with that tool and by you complimenting her and recognising her efforts you are slowly building up that woman, you are investing in her, as if you are making deposits in a bank!
I wasn't always this confident-I was soooo insecure because I grew up very poor so I didn't think I was capable of much in life but I have good friends and family that have built me up-that saw the things I could do before I even saw them and you know what they were right!! lol.
So today I would like you to make a conscience decision to be that someone for a woman in your life. Lets invest in each other so we can all be woman of excellence.

Today I am wearing a pastel coloured dress by Mr Price. This dress came out when Mr Price first started having designer labels at their store...this dress is truly one of my favs. The shoes are also Mr Price and the bag is from Guess.
