Trust me to turn denim into a complete wimp!!lol. Since denim has been trending I decided to dig out my denim suit and give it some elegance by pairing it with a soft pink polar neck and chunky boots.
This gorgeous suit with the high slit in the front, just for fun, I bought from Identity. I must be honest, I find identity caters mostly for the student crowd and I hardly find things I like there, but when I walked in and saw this suit, I was a taker. Firstly I love that its a dark denim with the gold stitching on it, the fitted cut was also a plus and then lastly, the slit...it just gives it EDGE!!
The polar neck is from Truworths, I have had it for ages. One thing about Truworths is that they don't compromise on quality. This top I have for at least 10 years now, I kid you not. It hasn't faded, it hasn't stretched and the material hasn't thinned out. It is gorgeous.
The top made the entire outfit look absolutely elegant, you forget that you actually wearing denim.
I chose boots for this outfit because it looked so feminine if I put on heels it would look more like church...so I went with boots so the look is not overdone. The boots are from Mr Price.
