The Farm Inn

After weeks and weeks of study leave at last I am back at work and its so nice to be ME again after so long! But back at work does not mean back at the Union Buildings...we were actually in a conference reviewing the standards (short version) at The Farm Inn.

The Farm Inn is a beautiful conference venue nestled in Silver Lakes in Pretoria. Silver lakes is famously known for where Oscar used to have a house, he recently sold it to pay off his legal bills. But this place makes you forget that that horrible incident happened just down the road...its absolutely beautiful with breath taking views and makes you feel as if you had left Pretoria and you now in a game reserve somewhere in Mpumalanga.

The food is also very delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

For that day I wore a red Melton coat which I bought at Marabastad last year. This deep red is just so beautiful and immediately caught my eye when I went shopping. the design is also very original. most Melton coats are usually straight cut with buttons down the middle. This one is fitted on the top and has a double flare at the bottom. It has "secret" buttons down the middle and one big one at the top of the collar. It is just gorgeous. I wore it with Mr price leggings and polar neck. The long boots are from Solo. The bag is from Baby Phat and the belt...my "must have" accessory this winter-MOSCHINO!!!
